So great to look back, of course bitter sweet seeing some of our fellow students are no longer with us and teachers we've lost over the years but will always remember. We won't loose the memories though, what each gave to us. I lost my Husband, Wade, Nov 2017 from rental cancer after 40 years of marriage. But I have still my 3 children, Adam 37 and my girl Jamie and Jennifer, now 34, wow, that dates me! 5 Grandchildren, yet even still working as an RN, wish to retire but working keeps me feeling young, what about you, most of you I hope now in your 60's still moving on, not going anywhere yet and don't skip a beat! Wow, time does fly though! Well, hope in spite of it all the experience is all worth it, but it would be nice just to go back to school for a day or two, talk to friends by the lockers and see our teachers and dream once more of all the things to come! Just for a day! Love to all class of 1976 bicentennial, Wendy Reed see you in another 20 years!

Recently found this sight and had a great time looking at pictures and reading about everyone. I enjoyed everyones stories and cried for all we have lost.  Heard about the last reunion but was to chicken to go. I guess I felt I was the only one that got older. After looking at the pictures and seeing everyone I look forward to going to the next one.  You all look terrific!

Thought I might try this site for some upates and was quite surprised to hear of so many of the teaching staff who have passed.  I have not been able to atend any of my 1974 class reunions, but am finally looking forward to 40th.  I currently work as a Vice President a an Audit Control Manager keeping up with the many global audits happening in my company. Life has been very good to me and I look forward to attending the 40th to share some experiences with all of my HHS friends.

I've been retired since '94--love it! Still see a couple of teachers you have listed as "deceased"--Tom Robinson and Tom Rice--both published authors, by the way. I'm also in contact with Benna Wilson and Dorothy Ozanne; we all get together for lunch every few months. If you need their emails, contact me. If you like to ride a bike, contact me. Karen - nah, both my kids went to Valhalla High School in Rancho San Diego. We were looking for a 'good school' in a 'good neighborhood' --- and affordable! I'm very happy with the education they got there. From what I hear, Hilltop HS isn't the school it used to be as far as academics. What do you think? Anyone?

The nine years I spent teaching and coaching at Hilltop were great. I run into former students quite often and see Mike Milke, Joe Medina, Neal Patton, Gene Bardot and others on a regular basis. I also see Coach Baum 8 to 10 times a year and he keeps me up to speed. Baum just retired but is still involved with the baseball program at HHS. He helps with the field and raises money for the team. He also does some work for the CIF and the district. Baum and I have gone to a couple of reunions and had a blast seeing everyone. -Tom
