It's been 10 years since I saw my bio. Now at 58, I'm a mom-in-law thru my first-born son and am happy watching their lives begin together. My middle son is working (yay) and in a relationship and the 3rd son just finished his 2nd year at SDSU and is thriving in sports and work. So it practically an empty nest syndrome for my husband (of 36 years this Oct.) and I. We only have 1 collie with us and a loud bird. I cant believe it is our 40th graduation reunion. I surprised many people by postponing college and getting married right out of high school. I met Ernie Charfauros (Castle Park High, Class of 1973) at the Southwestern College racquetball courts. Thanks to his coaching, I eventually became a pro racquetballer, traveling around the U.S. and abroad for tournaments. I still teach racquetball at U.C. Santa Cruz. After five years of marriage, I got divorced and moved to Santa Cruz. I fell in love with the town when I visited Liz and Laine Vilensky while they were studying at UCSC. I moved up here and never looked back. I love living near both the beach and the mountains, in a town small enough to walk and bike everywhere, but alive enough to never be bored. I've done lots of traveling over the years to about 40 countries. I'm fluent in German (Danke schoen to Frau Wilson for the head start) and Spanish, with nitnoy Thai, schwaya Arabe, and un petit peu du francais and italiano. I've also published quite a bit of my writing and photography. Currently, I'm the mother of an 8-year-old girl named Maya Angela who I adopted from Mexico. A chip off the old block, she's already traveled to Hawaii, Canada, Mexico many times, Holland, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Thailand, Pakistan and Hong Kong. Someday she will support me as a famous singer, dancer and actress.

I moved to Colorado in 1983, and got married in 1988. I worked as a computer programmer for 37 years. During that time, I was in the US Army Reserves for 6 years, working as an Operating Room Technician. I reached the rank of Sergeant in the USAR. I retired from programming late in 2020. That lasted about a year, when I took a position as a Lead Researcher for an online voter guide, which has been very interesting and fulfilling. I've continued acting on and off, and am very active in my church.
