I only recently heard about 'Suze', we were friends from Hilltop Jr. High thru Hilltop High, then as we know everyone parts ways and starts life. Suze had the greatest smile, sweetest disposition and was always one of those friends you'd  hope would be in one of your classes. Suze, me and a host of others had a blast in Mr. Lisle's 11th Grade Biology class, will never forget it.  I am sorry it took so long for me to hear about her passing since it seems like I just saw her yesterday.  So long Susan, but to me always, 'Suze' ... actually 'Suuuuze' which I met her with every time saw each other.   

My sister Susan Mannis died of breast cancer in 2010. She was still single and living in the Bay Area. She died just 3 months after my mom died. By coincidence, my mom’s sister just passed away and 3 months later, her youngest son (same age as Susan) died of cancer.
